Dear Faith Leader
This week at the Institute for Peace in Washington, D.C., the President joined Rwanda’s President Kagame and Democratic Republic of the Congo’s (DRC) President Tshisekedi as they signed another historic peace deal, the Washington Accords of Peace and Prosperity.
What you need to know:
The roadmap for a peace deal between Rwanda and the DRC was established earlier this past June but this week’s peace deal solidifies more detailed next steps related to addressing 1) root causes of conflict, 2) fostering trust and 3) advancing economic cooperation. WATCH former NFAB Executive Director and White House Faith Director Jenny Korn as she shares about the purpose of this peace deal, HERE.

Why this matters for faith leaders:
How did this day come to be? Faith diplomacy played a significant role. An agreement like this is the result of people of faith speaking truth and standing in the gap like our own NFAB Founder and White House Senior Advisor Pastor Paula-White Cain, White House Faith Director Jenny Korn and NFAB Members Travis Johnson and NFAB Dr. Malachi O’Brien. The voice of faith leaders are needed to help shape policies and bring wisdom to conversations impacting the world.
Proverbs 2:6 reminds us, “For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.”

NFAB in Israel
NFAB joined with Friends of Zion to form a 1,000 pastor delegation visiting Israel this week and early into next. A key message of the trip thus far for all of us to reflect upon is that the messages coming from the pulpit must speak louder than the propaganda.
We invite you to JOIN the LIVESTREAM, HERE.
