Updates to Celebrate

Dear Faith Leader

This Thanksgiving, we take time to reflect and give thanks for locking arms and advocating for religious liberty across our nation. We understand that our nation is a city on a hill and as our nation goes, so does the world.

Matthew 5:13-16 equips us with, “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

We are grateful for you and the faith leaders that champion religious freedom for all.

We pray this season of Thanksgiving brings forth meaningful conversations at your Thanksgiving table this year!

A Table in the Wilderness: Feeding Families in Need

NFAB Partners to Bless Families this Thanksgiving Week

This Thanksgiving week, NFAB partnered with Paula White Ministries and sister organizations to ensure hundreds of families and thousands of people, both young and old were fed. Each family received a Thanksgiving turkey with delicious sides and a dessert served with hope and love!

THANK YOU for all those that contributed to blessing these precious families in need!

NFAB “Thanksgiving Table” National Webinar Recap

NFAB Founder Pastor Paula White-Cain’s Trip to Africa

Pastor Paula shared about the trips she took in her personal capacity across Uganda, Rwanda, Gabon, Ghana, and the DRC, which included five presidential meetings and speaking thirteen times. Even in the midst of difficult times, the people are more hopeful than ever as Africa will and is the hub of Christianity.

Please continue to pray for our brothers and sisters in these nations. In addition, we celebrate that the White House Faith Office was the first office to meet with the delegation from Nigeria during their visit to the White House.

As Pastor Paula shared, β€œEvery person in the world deserves the right to approach God, to worship him freely without government interference or persecution.”

Additional Key Highlights:

  • NFAB Executive Team Update: NFAB is updating our executive team, which will include Pastor Todd Lamphere, Tamryn Foley, Amanda Vargo, and more announcements to come!
  • Religious Liberty: Dr. Alveda King shared about a Prayer Shield team dedicated to prayer for those serving at USDA.
  • Faith-Friendly Resources: USDA Faith Director Steve Messeh Shared that USDA Secretary Rollins’ personal faith shapes her professional vision and understands that faith communities are the bedrock of the communities USDA is called to serve. The USDA is working to ensure that resources are accessible and program rules are faith-friendly, providing a level playing field for all. We can look forward to webinars, meetings, on-site visits, roundtables, and listening sessions that will help to ensure that faith communities and all communities know how to tap into the resources available through USDA.
  • Challenge: Pastor Graham prayed for boldness and courage for faith leaders and that we would rise to the challenge of our times.
  • Gratitude: Ramiro Pena shared about the scientific results associated with gratitude and prayed for the faith offices across our federal government.
  • Families: Rabbi Taylor prayed a blessing over USDA and for families across our nation that “no family is left unseen and no child goes hungry.”
  • Foster Care/Adoption: Pastor Paula noted the recent Presidential Executive Order on Adoption and Foster Care eliminates the discrimination against faith-based people for adoption and foster care.
