In Case You Missed It: March NFAB Policy Webinar
Recap & Highlights
Advancing Faith & Freedom: Inside NFAB’s March National Policy Webinar
The NFAB’s March Policy Webinar reminded us that this work is not merely political—it is spiritual. NFAB Founder & President Pastor Paula White-Cain celebrated the rapid growth of NFAB while urging continued faithfulness: “We’re living in such vitally important times….Keep praying for us as we do the great work of educating, equipping, and advancing the body of Christ.”
Faith & Government: A Shared Responsibility
Assistant Secretary Riley Barnes who leads the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor at the U.S. Department of State offered a compelling vision for how faith and government can work together to advance God-given rights around the world. “These rights are not bestowed by governments… they are endowed by our Creator.”
Speaking both as a policymaker and a pastor, Assistant Secretary Barnes emphasized:
- The State Department’s role in defending inalienable rights
- A renewed focus on religious liberty as a national security priority
A Ministry Mindset in Public Service
Belsis Romero, Senior Advisor-Faith Liaison for the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor at the U.S. Department of State, framed the work around commonality saying: “I see the work that we do here, at the State Department as ministry… and the work that you do out there, too, as ministry.”
She reinforced several key ideas:
- Religious freedom is not just a value, it is a national security issue
- Faith leaders now have a meaningful seat at the table
The Stakes Could Not Be Higher
NFAB Founder & President Pastor Paula White-Cain closed the conversation with a sobering reminder: “If we lose freedom, we lose absolutely everything… it all rises and falls on religious liberty.” She pointed to the global reality and issued a clear call to action: 344 million people on earth face persecution for their faith.

America 250: Rededicate America
Rededicate 250: A National Jubilee of Prayer, Praise, and Thanksgiving
On Sunday, May 17, 2026, Americans from across the country will gather on the National Mall for Rededicate 250: a once-in-a-generation moment of prayer, worship, and thanksgiving as we approach our nation’s 250th anniversary. President Donald Trump described the significance of the day clearly:“We’re inviting Americans from all across the country to come together… to pray, give thanks, and rededicate America as One Nation Under God.”
WHAT:
From sunrise to sunset, this gathering will bring us together as faith leaders, public servants, worship artists, and believers from every corner of the nation to reflect on God’s providence throughout our history and to seek His blessing for what lies ahead.
THE WHY:
As Vince Haley, Director of the Domestic Policy Council, shared, this moment is about recognizing “the unmistakable hand of God at work in our national life.” This is more than an event. It is a declaration! A declaration that faith has shaped this nation, and must continue to shape its future.
